Curtain Recipes is the first in a new series of soft furnishing books designed to take the mystery out of making your own curtains, blinds or other window treatments. In this book there are 60 original designs to choose from, and opposite each design are the simple illustrated instructions on how to make them.

The first few pages give examples of window shapes most commonly found in homes and offices, together with a selection of fabrics suitable for curtains and blinds. Wendy has also included a few basic sewing tips and as long as you follow her easy instructions it should only take a day to make a simple pair of curtains.
